SAC - STAKEHOLDER ADVISORY COMMITTEE

A Stakeholders Advisory Committee (SAC) has been created and formed by relevant organisations, Politicians and Elected Members , included if seen valid, other bodies that in a wider sense are a natural interface between Stakeholder and Decision Makers, that play a role in the design and implementation of the project results in the National and Regional policy instruments addressed by RE-PLAN.

The SAC will have competence into the Areas of Applications on which the project will focus:

* SG1 Transport infrastructures: Roads, Rails, Tramways, Metro.

* SG2 Building: Buildings and Construction, Concrete, Insulation.

* SG3 Urban & Sport: Sports and Leisure Facilities, Urban Areas and Furniture, Rubber Products and  Rubber Surfaces.

·       SAC forms the core of the strategic thinking process, leading to the adoption of Action Plans

·       SAC gives input to Action Plans, Case Analysis and Best Practice, Method for involving Decision Makers and companies in the GPP process

·       SACs will monitor the implementation of Strategic Actions

The SAC have regular meetings. Organization and individuals who has specific interest and expertise may join the SAC and contribute to the activities.


WORKING GROUPS

Three Working Groups have been set up:

·       WG1 Transport infrastructures: Roads, Rails, Tramways, Metro.

·       WG2 Building: Buildings and Construction, Concrete, Insulation.

·       WG3 Urban & Sport: Sports and Leisure Facilities, Urban Areas and Furniture, Rubber Products and Rubber Surfaces.

 Each WG represent a wide Area of Applications, from which specific Applications will be chosen as targets of the Project Activities, at least one per WG, prioritising applications with potential wide markets, higher numbers of partners involved, and with more accessibility, in order to maximise implementation of GPPs.

The Working Groups have a central role in the whole project:

-       they gather together experts from the various partners

-       they are a place of sharing and discussion among partners

-       they match the activities and results of various WP related to the specific topic area

-       they are the mirror interface of the Stakeholders Advisory Committees in which they participate

The Working Groups have regular meetings. Organization and individuals who has specific interest and expertise may join the WGs and contribute to the activities.
